The vegan Japanese restaurant has expanded its menu and opened a new outdoor patio. Niku Nashi first launched earlier this year as a concept inside APB—a vegan cocktail bar on Melrose in Fairfax. Last week, Niku Nashi debuted its own patio and has made its new, expanded menu available for pickup and delivery with major platforms such as Doordash and Uber Eats. The new menu includes personal-sized Bento boxes, a full vegan sushi menu, and catering trays for 10-600 people.
MANEATINGPLANT Opens First Location at Westfield Topanga Mall
If you’ve spent any time in the LA vegan pop-up food scene over the past few years, you’ll know that MANEATINGPLANT is one of the best vegan food trucks in the game. They’ll be bringing their famed fried shroom bao, garlic noodles, and musubi to Topanga Social—the new food hall at Westfield Topanga Mall. MANEATINGPLANT will be the only fully vegan restaurant in the 27-restaurant food hall, though several other restaurants will carry vegan options.
