Because everyone deserves a taste of this droolworthy vegan, gluten-free soft serve!

Calling all investors, entrepreneurs, and dessert lovers! Want to own a vegan soft serve shop? LA’s Yoga-urt now offers franchising in California. Keep reading to learn more about Yoga-urt and why you should bring their dairy-free frozen yogurt to your city!

Vegan, Gluten-Free Soft Serve Shop

Yoga-urt is a wickedly popular vegan, gluten-free soft serve shop with locations in Echo Park, Glendale, and Santa Monica. The woman-owned dessert destination offers 30 scratch-made rotating soft serve flavors using organic, plant-based ingredients that are free from gluten, soy, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives. The swirls begin with a hand-squeezed almond milk base, complete with probiotics for digestive and immune health.

The many flavors range from Vanilla Harmony and Chocolate Bliss to Ultimate Ube, Pistachio Passion, and Thai Iced Tea. Yoga-urt even offers a variety of naturally sweetened flavors like Sweet Greens and True Tahini for those who avoid added sugars.

Yoga-urt swirls up soft serve in cups and gluten-free waffle cones, loaded with whatever combination you desire from their all-vegan toppings bar. Not only that, but the dessert shop serves vegan ice cream cookie sandwiches, soft serve pie slices, milkshakes, kombucha floats, banana splits, and other seasonal treats. Remember Choco Tacos? Yeah, Yoga-urt offers a vegan rendition occasionally.

Yoga-urt’s Sustainability Practices

To show Mother Earth some love, Yoga-urt follows several sustainability practices worth mentioning. For starters, they use the leftover almond pulp and flour from their soft serve to create cookies and pie crust. In addition, all three of Yoga-urt’s corporate stores are certified California Green Businesses, providing compostable or recycled paper goods. From spoons and cups to pint containers and stickers, Yoga-urt offers eco-friendly alternatives to traditionally harmful disposable products.

The Story Behind Yoga-urt

The story behind Yoga-urt is more than meets the taste buds. Behind the delicious desserts is an inspiring woman on a mission to serve better-for-you frozen yogurt in a peaceful setting. Founder Melissa Schulman opened her first location in 2015 after a year-long sabbatical immersed in her yoga practice. She set out to share her mindful, health-conscious ways in an easy-to-digest format. Because what’s more digestible than a cone of refreshing vegan soft serve?

Open a Yoga-urt Franchise

Schulman has since opened two more locations but has now reached the point where franchising is key to expanding the Yoga-urt brand.

“Customers absolutely love our soft serve and with such high demand and growth, we’re proud to initialize the next step in the brand’s evolution through franchising. We hope to inspire a new crop of business owners who want to cement their legacy in the organic food and wellness industry,” Schulman said.
