The new collection features highly pigmented shades inspired by the earth’s natural elements.
This month, OPI launched a vegan nail polish collection—Nature Strong—that offers long-lasting, vibrant color and a high shine finish. The new line is certified vegan by The Vegan Society and is made from natural, plant-based ingredients such as sugar cane, manioc, wheat, potatoes, and corn.
OPI’s Nature Strong Collection
OPI’s Nature Strong collection features 30 highly pigmented shades inspired by the earth’s natural elements, with cute and sassy names such as Let Nature Take Its Quartz (pale rose quartz pink), Spring Into Action (pastel lavender), Shore is Something! (ocean blue), Simply Radishing (a radish-inspired pink), A Bloom with a View (rosy red), Onyx Skies (black), Right as Rain (lavender gray), Once and Floral (a bright gerbera pink), Make My Daisy (daisy yellow), and Achieve Grapeness (shimmery purple), as well as a top coat for lasting color protection. Each shade retails for $11.50 per 15 mL bottle, offers up to seven days of wear and shine, and can be removed with lacquer remover. In addition to its vegan formula, the nail polish is bottled in sustainable packaging made from 20% post-consumer recycled materials.
Nature Strong’s Vegan Trademark
by The Vegan Society The Vegan Society is a UK-based charity organization that was founded in 1944 by Donald Watson and his wife, Dorothy, along with four other like-minded friends. In 1990, the society developed The Vegan Trademark, which is used to help consumers identify which products are free from animal ingredients. Today, The Vegan Trademark is on over 54,000 products worldwide, including cosmetics, clothing, food, drink, and household items. Each bottle from OPI’s Nature Strong Collection features The Vegan Society’s trademark seal, ensuring that the product is free from animal ingredients and animal testing.
