Baked by Sticky—formerly Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats—celebrates 25 years with a new name, expanded wholesale presence, and transparent packaging to meet growing consumer demand for plant-based treats.
Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats, a beloved vegan bakery based in Washington, DC, is marking 25 years with a fresh look and a new name: Baked by Sticky. The rebrand reflects the company’s rapid wholesale growth and evolving focus on online and retail distribution, making their plant-based treats even more accessible.
Wholesale Expansion and Upgraded Facility
Baked by Sticky’s sleek, transparent packaging now lines shelves across over 400 stores, including Whole Foods, MOM’s Organic Market, and Hilton hotels. The rebrand comes with an increased emphasis on wholesale distribution, and earlier this year, the company upgraded to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Takoma, Washington, DC. The new automated facility enhances production efficiency, ensuring consistent quality as demand soars.
Celebrate the Rebrand on World Vegan Day
To mark the new chapter, Baked by Sticky will host a cookie giveaway at its flagship location, 314 Carroll St, NW, Washington, DC, on November 1 from 12-7pm. Just in time for World Vegan Day, it’s the perfect way to sample fan-favorites like Sweet & Salty Cookies, Oatmeal Creme Sandwiches, and gluten-free options.
Leading with Transparency and Flavor
Baked by Sticky founder, Doron Petersan, shared the motivation behind the rebrand, stating, “There are so few options that cater to conscious consumers who want egg, dairy, sesame, and peanut-free products without sacrificing taste. Our customers value transparency—not just in ingredients, but in packaging—because they love to see just what they’re getting before taking a bite.” Petersan is a two-time Cupcake Wars champion and author of Sticky Fingers Vegan Sweets: 100 Super-Secret Vegan Recipes.
Baked by Sticky offers 19 products, including ready-to-eat treats, cake mixes, and gluten-free options. With this new chapter, the company aims to satisfy conscious consumers without compromising flavor. Stay tuned as Baked by Sticky continues to grow and delight plant-based snack lovers nationwide!
Just launched: Laughing in the Face of Chaos by Rudá Iandê
Exhausted from trying to hold it all together?
You show up. You smile. You say the right things. But under the surface, something’s tightening. Maybe you don’t want to “stay positive” anymore. Maybe you’re done pretending everything’s fine.
This book is your permission slip to stop performing. To understand chaos at its root and all of your emotional layers.
In Laughing in the Face of Chaos, Brazilian shaman Rudá Iandê brings over 30 years of deep, one-on-one work helping people untangle from the roles they’ve been stuck in—so they can return to something real. He exposes the quiet pressure to be good, be successful, be spiritual—and shows how freedom often lives on the other side of that pressure.
This isn’t a book about becoming your best self. It’s about becoming your real self.
