This well-known actress is making a positive impact on the beauty industry with her newest line of eco-conscious hair products.
This month, Jennifer Aniston launches a cruelty-free, vegan haircare brand. The actress, producer, and entrepreneur has been working on the brand—LolaVie—and its products for the past five years, and has remained dedicated to being a part of the development process from start to finish. All LolaVie products are also free from parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten.
LolaVie’s Glossing Detangler
LolaVie’s Glossing Detangler is the first product to debut, which features a 99% naturally derived detangling formula, a vegan thermal shield, lemon extract, vegetable ceramides, and chia seeds for shine and protection. The Glossing Detangler retails for $25 on the brand’s website, and has been dubbed “the Swiss Army Knife” of hair products by Aniston as it works as both a heat protector and shine enhancer.
Sustainability in the Beauty Industry
In addition to containing a vegan and cruelty-free formula, LolaVie also uses bamboo essence instead of water in all of their products, which works as a sustainable water solution. The products are also bottled in 100% recyclable packaging.
With the launch of LolaVie, Aniston joins the team of celebrities that are making a positive impact on sustainability in the beauty industry. In May 2019, Kylie Jenner launched Kylie Skin, a brand that is 100% cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, and is suitable for all skin types.
Just last week, hair stylist and reality TV star Jonathan Van Ness released his new vegan and cruelty-free haircare line—JVN Hair—which is available now at Sephora. On the heels of Van Ness’s launch, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea launched Totally Plastic, a cruelty-free makeup line.
LolaVie’s Glossing Detangler is now available on the brand’s website, lolavie.com. You can also check out the latest product launches on their Instagram page, @lolavie.
