After teasing their brick-and-mortar location last September, Verón officially opens its doors this Friday, April 7. Say oui to LA’s new vegan macaron shop!
Vegan, Gluten-Free French Macarons
Founder Shera Fournier first launched Verón as a pop-up and online business. Her goal? To veganize the age-old delicacy without harming animals. For the past couple of years, the bakery has shipped delicious vegan, gluten-free French macarons to customers across the country and popped up locally in Los Angeles. Offering an animal-free take on the traditionally egg-heavy confection, Verón quickly grew their fan base. Which led to their newest venture—a vegan macaron shop in Downtown Los Angeles!

18 Vegan Macaron Flavors, Seasonal Desserts, and a Full Coffee and Tea Program
Verón’s posh new storefront features their iconic lineup of 18 vegan macaron flavors sold online—Blueberry, Earl Grey, and Passionfruit, to name a few. In addition, the shop offers multi-tier macaron cakes, extra large macarons, seasonal desserts, and a full coffee and tea program. For example, customers can pick up Easter-themed macarons shaped like bunnies, eggs, and chicks. Or they can order up cappuccinos with 3-Tier Macaron Cakes. Essentially, whatever ideas you have of noshing on vegan meringue in style, Verón has you covered!
Want to know something even sweeter? Verón’s entire Parisian dessert portfolio is achieved without gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, corn, palm oil, or artificial colors and flavors. Instead, Verón crafts macarons with ingredients like organic almond flour, sugar, tapioca, and a vegetable-based egg replacer. Lastly, Verón colors their macarons naturally using pitaya powder, spirulina, and other plant-based sources. And the buttercream filling features a housemade shortening composed of grape seed oil and cocoa butter.

Verón’s Macaron Shop Opens This Friday in Downtown Los Angeles
Verón’s macaron shop officially opens this Friday in Downtown LA at 601 S Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90016. Stop by between 9am and 3pm to check out the new space and stock up on macarons. The earlier you arrive for Verón’s grand opening, the better chance you have to win free prizes. That’s right, the first 50 customers receive gift bags filled with goodies, and the first 100 receive a free gift with a purchase.
