The two vegan flavors of the no-sugar-added vegan protein bars will be available at all Trader Joe’s stores in honor of Veganuary.
This is a great year for Veganuary, with many companies expanding their plant-based products, creating new vegan recipes, and highlighting vegan ingredients in honor of the 31-day challenge. Barebells has joined the throng, announcing the launch of their vegan protein bars at Trader Joe’s locations nationwide.
Barebells: No Palm Oil or Added Sugar in These Protein Bars
Barebells currently offers two vegan flavors of their protein bars: Salty Peanut and Hazelnut Nougat. Both flavors are certified vegan and each contains 15g protein derived from soy, peas, and rice. As with the rest of Barebells products, the vegan protein bars are made without palm oil or added sugar.
Both the Hazelnut Nougat and Salty Peanut come in dairy-based bars as well, so just make sure to choose the ones with the plant-based label for a fully vegan option.
As well as launching at Trader Joe’s, Barebells is also now available on Amazon and at Barebells.com.
Barebells Offers Two Vegan Protein Bars
Barebells launched as a Swedish company back in 2016 and expanded to the US market in 2019. Branded as a no-nonsense protein bar packed with up to 20g protein per bar and offering chocolate-dunked flavors such as Caramel Cashew and Cookies & Cream, Barebells quickly became a favorite in the fitness world.
The brand launched their two new vegan flavors in July of 2021 to much anticipation after a year's-long push by consumers. While the non-vegan flavors have been on the shelves at Trader Joe’s for years, 2022 marks the first time that consumers will be able to find the plant-based version at the vegan-friendly grocery store.
Use Barebells’ store locator to find the closest Trader Joe’s near you carrying the vegan protein bars, or place your order directly with Barebells by visiting Barebells.com.
