Get ready to raise your glasses and indulge in a mushroom-filled extravaganza, because Overthrow Hospitality is shaking up the dining scene with their latest venture: & Beer! Led by the renowned visionary Ravi DeRossi, this plant-based hospitality group is all set to revolutionize the way we think about vegan dining. And they’re doing it with a twist! Through limited-time food concepts, & Beer will roll out new themed menus beginning with Mushrooms & Beer.

& Beer: Overthrow Hospitality’s Concept Incubator

Nestled at 21 East 7th Street, right next to the beloved Proletariat beer bar, & Beer is not your average restaurant. It’s a concept incubator where the culinary maestros of Overthrow Hospitality will unleash their wildest ideas! Picture a sleek and minimalist space, with exposed brick walls and a wooden bartop that sets the stage for the real stars—the mouthwatering vegan dishes.

Kicking off the grand opening is the spring and summer 2023 concept: Mushrooms & Beer. With Chef Juan Pajarito from Avant Garden at the helm, you’ll enjoy a mind-blowing menu that celebrates the wondrous world of mushrooms. Each dish revolves around a unique mushroom variety, like the Oyster with tempura beer batter and ponzu hot sauce, or the Lion’s Mane dumpling with daikon sauce and micro cilantro. Don’t forget about the grand finale—a chocolate & truffle ravioli with blueberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. From small bites to delectable desserts, every dish is crafted with love and bursting with flavor.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! & Beer is just getting started. They have an entire lineup of pop-up concepts in the pipeline, featuring plant-based twists on Egyptian cuisine, sushi, BBQ, and Chinese food. It’s a whirlwind adventure for your taste buds, all in one place!
