Shawnee’s Goodies, the Atlanta-based vegan bakery and cafe, is hosting a grand opening celebration on February 20 at 12pm.

Grand Opening Celebration for Vegan Bakery Shawnee’s Goodies in Atlanta

Shawnee’s Goodies has been a staple in the Atlanta vegan pop-up food scene since 2016. Just recently, on January 10, 2022, the vegan bakery opened the doors to its first brick-and-mortar in Lilburn.

A month after the soft opening, Shawnee’s Goodies is ready for its grand opening, which will be held on February 20. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 12pm, and the celebration will follow immediately with new menu items, a DJ, prizes, and a raffle. Raffle prizes will include a flat-screen TV and several gift cards to Shawnee’s Goodies.

Shawnee’s Goodies is located at 4895 Stone Mountain Hwy, Lilburn, GA 30047. The grand opening celebration will run until 7pm.

Shawnee’s Goodies Is Soy-Free and 100% Vegan

Shawnee’s Goodies got its start as a dedicated vegan bakery making cupcakes and cakes for the greater Atlanta area. Since opening their first brick-and-mortar, the brand has expanded and is now offering a limited menu of vegan cafe food. Now, aside from getting their favorite strawberry cupcakes or coconut pound cake, customers will be able to order fully vegan lunches at Shawnee’s Goodies from 1-6:30pm Wednesday through Sunday.

Expect rotating specials such as baked ziti with house-made marinara sauce and mozzarella, house-made veggie burgers, gluten-free spicy mac ‘n’ cheese, and an expanded bakery offering, including cookies and sweet potato brownies. Shawnee’s Goodies is soy-free as well as 100% vegan, so expect everything to be made fresh and in-house!

Customers will still be able to place custom cake orders at the cafe, as well as large cupcake orders. To see the current specials and browse new menu items, give Shawnee’s Goodies a follow on Instagram at @shawneesgoodies.
