Slutty Vegan Opens in New York This Weekend
The famed vegan burger joint will open in Brooklyn on Sunday, September 18.
New York, prepare to get sluttified! Slutty Vegan is opening in Brooklyn this Sunday, September 18.
Slutty Vegan Opens in New York City
Slutty Vegan has been on a booming expansion tour over the past couple of years. What started as a vegan food truck has now expanded to a nationwide phenomenon. As a result, Slutty Vegan now has six brick-and-mortar stores. Five of those locations are in the brand’s home state of Georgia. Also, the team just opened its first out-of-state spot in Alabama last month.
The new Brooklyn Slutty Vegan location will be the brand’s seventh outpost and the second outside Georgia. The Brooklyn store will offer the same iconic menu that Slutty Vegan fans have come to love. So, vegan burgers, sandwiches, sides, and desserts will be available for takeout and delivery. The new store is taking over the former Broccoli Bar space at 690 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217.
“I was taught that if you can make it in New York City, you can make it anywhere,” said Slutty Vegan President Jason Crain. “We are proud to open in Brooklyn. We know that with New Yorkers on our side, we will be able to spread our mission all over the world.”
The Best Vegan Burger in the World?
Pinky Cole—founder and CEO of Slutty Vegan—has completely changed the vegan community with her entrepreneurial pursuits. Not only is Slutty Vegan a household name, but it features one of the best vegan burgers in the country. Celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Taraji P. Henson, Tiffany Haddish, and Queen Latifah have sung Slutty Vegan’s praises.
With a menu that features racy item names such as “One Night Stand,” “Fussy Hussy,” and the “Hollywood Hooker,” ordering at Slutty Vegan is an experience that people come from far and wide to be a part of.
Aside from opening her seventh Slutty Vegan location, Pinky Cole has also opened a vegan bar, landed a retail deal with Costco, and released a plant-based cookbook. Regarding her newest opening in New York, Cole said “This is like a dream come true. I remember working in New York City following my dream, and now almost a decade later, my dream is following me. I am beyond excited to finally sluttify Brooklyn, New York!”
