The popular vegan comfort food spot has made it to Central LA!
If you love vegan comfort food and brunch, this news is for you! Seabirds Kitchen opened today in Los Feliz. This is the restaurant’s third location and its first in Central LA.
Droolworthy Vegan Comfort Food and Innovative Cocktails
Seabirds Kitchen first started as a vegan food truck over 10 years ago. Owner Stephanie Morgan competed on the Food Network show The Great Food Truck Race in 2011. Viewers were introduced to the revolutionary world of vegan cuisine, which increased the buzz around Seabirds Kitchen.
In 2013, Seabirds Kitchen’s brick-and-mortar restaurant opened in Costa Mesa. And four years later, its second spot opened in Long Beach. SoCal foodies fell in love with the restaurant’s laid-back vibes, droolworthy vegan comfort food, and innovative cocktails. But up until this point, Seabirds Kitchen hasn’t made it to Central Los Angeles. So, you can see why we’re excited about their newest location in Los Feliz!
Seabirds Kitchen Opens in Los Feliz Today
After it was teased earlier this year, Seabirds Kitchen opened in Los Feliz this week! The new location features a modern dining room and open-air patio with an eye-catching hand-painted mural by LA artist Kristi Head.
“I had always wanted to bring Seabirds to Los Angeles after opening Costa Mesa and Long Beach. We wanted to be in Los Feliz because it has a cozy neighborhood feel but also feels urban with very laid-back vibes,” shared Morgan.
The menu includes several signature dishes, like Purple Taquitos, Beer Battered Avo Tacos, Crispy Cauliflower Sandwiches, and the beloved Chaffle. There are also some new menu items exclusive to the Los Feliz location. These include a Blackened Beet Taco, Sicilian Caponata, and Cashew Burrata.
Seabirds Kitchen Los Feliz is located at 2138 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027. The restaurant is currently open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 10pm daily.
