Vegan entrepreneur, Grammy Award-winning artist, and music producer Jermaine Dupri has just launched his own brand of vegan ice cream, called JD’s Vegan. The brand is available now on Walmart.com and will be available in Walmart stores across the nation beginning December 28.

JD’s Vegan Exclusively at Walmart

In an attempt to make healthy alternatives to favorite foods accessible to everyone, Jermaine Dupri has teamed up exclusively with Walmart to bring JD’s Vegan to their online marketplace and stores across the country.

Dupri has launched the ice cream with partner Big Innovations Group Inc. and with the personal input of Malcolm Stogo, an international ice cream consultant dubbed the “godfather of ice cream.” The result is a vegan ice cream that’s just as creamy as dairy-based ice cream, is GMO-free, and contains no artificial flavors.

Currently, there are three flavors of JD’s Vegan ice cream available. “Welcome to Atlanta Peach Cobbler,” “Apple Butter,” and “Strawberry Sweetheart” are made from coconut milk and come in 14oz containers for $6.47.

“Welcome to Atlanta Peach Cobbler” is made with fresh slices of golden peaches and crumbled cobbler. “Apple Butter” is made with a whipped apple spread and toasted cinnamon streusel crumble. “Strawberry Sweetheart” is filled with strawberry puree swirls and chunks of strawberry with velvety coconut cream.

Future Flavors of JD’s Vegan Ice Cream

After the initial rollout of these three flavors, JD’s Vegan will release three more flavors. “Chocolate My Way,” “Key Lime Pie,” and “(404) Cookies & Cream” will be available for purchase alongside the original three at Walmart.com, JDsVegan.com, and at Walmart locations nationwide at the end of December.
