These new vegan chicken nuggets can now be found nationwide at Walmart, Albertsons, Kroger, and more.
Stop what you’re doing and head to the store, because Impossible Chicken Nuggets are now available in grocery stores nationwide! The nationwide release into retail stores comes after a limited release of the plant-based nuggets in select restaurants earlier this year.
Impossible Vegan Chicken Nuggets Available in Grocery Stores
The new vegan chicken nuggets can be found in the frozen section of thousands of grocery stores across the country. Shops currently carrying the product include Walmart, Wegmans, Kroger, Stop & Shop, ShopRite, Albertsons, and Safeway. Use this store locator to find out which grocers are carrying the plant-based nuggets near you (bonus: the store locator will also tell you which nearby restaurants serve the nuggets!). And don’t worry, if you don’t see them in a store near you, more stores will be added to the distribution list soon.
The nuggets are made from textured soy, herbs, and sunflower oil and are coated in crispy wheat breading. They are sold in 13.5 oz bags and can be enjoyed by cooking them in the microwave, oven, or air fryer.
Meat-Forward Restaurants Serving Impossible Nuggets
Impossible Foods has had quite a year—releasing not only the vegan chicken nuggets, but vegan pork as well. While the pork is still in early testing phases, the chicken nuggets are widely available in restaurants. Meat-forward restaurants serving Impossible Nuggets including Red Rooster, Dog Haus, and Fatburger have already added the plant-based nuggets to their menus in select locations, and vegan restaurants Crossroads and Veg’n Out have picked up the new product as well.
The vegan nuggets have fared extremely well with meat-eating audiences. Impossible Foods conducted a blind taste-test in Texas of 201 meat-eaters, and 74% of them preferred the Impossible Chicken Nuggets over animal-based chicken nuggets from a well-known brand! Visit ImpossibleFoods.com for more information about the plant-based chicken nuggets, and for updates on all other vegan products the brand is currently working on.
