The California-based, celeb-backed company is making big moves.

Good news, vegan cheese lovers! Misha’s, a Black-owned plant dairy company, is expanding its distribution to conventional grocery stores starting this month with Walmart! Effective immediately, Misha’s delicious non-dairy cheese will be available in California, Utah, Nevada, Washington, and Texas Walmart stores, with plans to expand further.

Misha’s Uses Traditional Cheesemaking Methods to Cut Out Dairy

Ever wonder how a vegan creamery makes its cheese? Misha’s produces their cheese the traditional way, just without the dairy! Using organic cashew milk blended with fresh herbs, vegetables, and spices sourced locally, they utilize traditional cheesemaking methods for a tasty bite in each spread. And now, with their entrance into the national conventional grocery retail space through Walmart, more people than ever will have access to their diverse flavors and cultures!

Misha’s Rolls Out in Walmart Stores in Select Test States

Walmart will be offering four of Misha’s year-round spreadable cheese flavors, including the savory French Connection (with herbs de Provence and black olives), a Smoked Cheddar (with smoked paprika and chipotle), zesty Sari (with sundried tomatoes and roasted garlic), and their decadent Black Truffle (crafted with black truffle and shallots). With so many options to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Misha’s co-founder and CEO Aaron Bullock expressed his excitement about the partnership with Walmart, saying, “Our team has worked tirelessly to develop and refine our products, and we are proud to partner with Walmart, which has been an unrelenting supporter of us, helping to bring Misha’s to the larger community.” In addition to being a vegan company, Misha’s is also kosher and gluten-free.

If you live in California, Utah, Nevada, Washington, or Texas, plan a trip to your local Walmart and pick up some Misha’s plant-based cheese to add delicious flavor to your next meal! Be sure to check out their website, LoveMishas.com, to learn more!
