The "Plantscape" dinner series is back this month, featuring a sustainable, plant-based menu crafted by top chefs.

Get ready for an unforgettable culinary experience as The Plot proudly brings back its award-winning “Plantscape” dinner series. Known for its plant-based, zero-waste approach, The Plot is excited to host this innovative tasting menu once again at their Costa Mesa location on Wednesday, July 24, with seatings starting at 4pm.

Culinary Masterminds at Work

The Plantscape dinner series showcases the talents of The Plot’s Executive Chef Davin Waite and chefs Rachel Hurley, Travis Roe, and Jade Chiu. This month, they are joined by guest chef William Eick of Oceanside’s Matsu, recognized as San Diego Magazine’s “Best Japanese Restaurant” in 2022 and 2023. Together, they embrace the theme of “land fruit and sea vegetables,” featuring locally sourced and foraged seaweed from Blue Evolution and Monterey Bay Seaweeds.

July’s Plantscape dinner promises a playful and unique six-course meal that highlights locally grown ingredients, many from The Plot’s own backyard garden in Oceanside. The chefs will employ cutting-edge techniques such as total utilization and dry aging, ensuring a delightful and satisfying dining experience. Each course reflects the unique creativity of the chefs, offering diners a distinctive and memorable meal.
