With nearly 40 athletes hailing from both the US and international stages, the Vegan Strong PlantBuilt team is a force to be reckoned with. These dedicated athletes are primed to showcase their skills across five distinct sports: powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, strongman, and kettlebell sport. This eclectic mix highlights the versatility and potential of plant-based eating, challenging the notion that strength comes solely from animal sources.
The roster of the 2023 Vegan Strong PlantBuilt team reads like a roll call of international excellence. From the reigning Mr. America world record-holder for bench press to France’s strongest woman, these athletes have crossed borders to demonstrate the worldwide impact of the vegan athletic movement. Hailing from countries such as Australia, Norway, France, and Canada, they exemplify the boundless reach of a plant-based lifestyle.
Giacomo Marchese, the founder of the PlantBuilt team, shared, “Accomplishing elite levels of strength, health, and wellness is an extension of our compassion for life.
