You'll be able to find plant-based meats from the Chicago-based brand in more than 1,300 Publix stores starting January 2024.
Upton’s Naturals, an independent plant-based meat brand, is set to launch at Publix with its massive retail expansion. The brand, founded by committed vegan Daniel Staackmann, is making its mark in more than 1,300 Publix stores starting January 2024.
Five of Upton’s Naturals’ plant-based products, including Chorizo Seitan, Traditional Seitan, Updog Vegan Hot Dogs, Bar-B-Que Jackfruit, and Chili Lime Jackfruit, will soon grace the shelves of Publix, providing shoppers with an array of flavorful options.
“Expanding into Publix stores has been a business goal for many years,” said Staackmann, “and underscores our belief that delicious foods made with real, recognizable ingredients will always be in demand regardless of trends.”
Expanding Offerings in Sprouts Farmers Market
But that’s not all! The vegan powerhouse is also expanding its footprint in 400 Sprouts Farmers Market stores. Upton’s Naturals Bacon Seitan, an addition to the brand’s current lineup at Sprouts, will be available in the refrigerated meat alternatives section starting early December this year.
17 Years of Vegan Innovation
With a legacy spanning over 17 years, Upton’s Naturals has consistently pushed the boundaries of plant-based cuisine. From introducing the first pre-seasoned seitan in 2006 to spearheading the jackfruit trend, the company has become a household name among plant-based consumers, embodying a commitment to simple ingredients and familiar flavors.
Apart from retail stores, Upton’s Naturals’ products are also available online at UptonsNaturals.com. For updates and a peek at their Chicago vegan restaurant, Liberation Kitchen, follow @UptonsNaturals on Instagram.
