Other UNLIMEAT Collaborations in Hong Kong
UNLIMEAT’s partnership with Starbucks follows a string of successful collaborations with renowned global brands across Hong Kong. Since its Hong Kong debut in 2020, UNLIMEAT has joined forces with leading establishments like Mott 32, Crystal Jade, and Trust Congee King, revolutionizing traditional menus with plant-based alternatives.
In 2022, IKEA Hong Kong celebrated Earth Day by unveiling an alternative meat menu featuring UNLIMEAT products. Likewise, Seven Eleven launched two Korean BBQ-inspired items incorporating UNLIMEAT’s signature plant-based meat, expanding the reach of eco-conscious dining to convenience store customers.
Keumchae Min, UNLIMEAT’s CEO, said, “We have been dreaming of launching something at Starbucks ever since we launched our first products in Hong Kong. Our pulled pork has been our most popular product in the United States, so we’re so excited to introduce the product to Hong Kong people through Starbucks. It is especially meaningful for us that we were able to launch a menu item that contained the name of our product.”
Starbucks Embraces “Value Consumption”
Starbucks’ adoption of plant-based options aligns with the burgeoning “value consumption” movement, emphasizing ethical consumption and environmental stewardship. By integrating UNLIMEAT’s Pulled Pork Wrap into its menu, Starbucks underscores its dedication to catering to evolving consumer preferences while championing sustainability.
The UNLIMEAT Pulled Pork Wrap presents an opportunity for Starbucks customers to savor a flavorful, cruelty-free menu item, affirming the growing allure of plant-based dining options.
