Recognized as the first vegan Italian wine bar in the United States, Pura Vita is quickly becoming one of LA’s hottest vegan spots. From Cacio E Pepe and Cauliflower Chickpea Parmigiana to Baked Alfredo, Gluten-Free Margherita Pizza, and Tiramisu, the menu items from Pura Vita are not to be missed! Oh, and did we mention they serve brunch on the weekend?
The restaurant was founded by chef Tara Punzone, an Italian-American from Brooklyn. With a menu inspired by the flavors and dishes of Southern Italy and the ambiance of a New York City wine bar, Pura Vita has attracted quite the crowd. After opening their flagship restaurant in West Hollywood and expanding to an all-vegan pizzeria next door, the Pura Vita team is ready to open another location. Chef Tara Punzone took to Instagram to make the announcement. “We have been working hard, creating, evolving, expanding our minds and our hearts. We cannot wait to grow our amazing family from West Hollywood down to the South Bay,” wrote Punzone.
