Impossible Hot Dogs Launch in Restaurants and Grocery Stores Next Year

This special giveaway offers a sneak peek into Impossible’s newest product, promising a fresh and familiar take on the classic American hot dog. Launching in restaurants and grocery stores next year, these juicy, savory links provide a cooking and sensory experience akin to traditional beef hot dogs. However, they are crafted entirely from high-quality plant-derived ingredients.

Setting a new standard, Impossible Hot Dogs outshine their animal-based counterparts on several nutritional fronts. With 50% less total and saturated fat, a substantial 12g of protein, and zero milligrams of cholesterol, these plant-based franks redefine the hot dog game. Naturally derived ingredients, such as cultured celery powder, replace added nitrates or nitrites commonly found in animal-based hot dogs.

“Hot dogs are an undeniably classic part of American culture and not to mention, they’re a burger’s best friend. It’s long been a priority to add them to our product portfolio” said Peter McGuinness, CEO and President of Impossible Foods. “Our adaptation replicates that quintessential hot dog taste, while offering consumers a nutrient-dense product that’s better for the planet. We want people to see that there’s really no compromise when you choose Impossible products. It’s as easy as throwing an Impossible Hot Dog on the grill—right next to an Impossible Burger.”

Sustainable Indulgence: Good for You, Good for the Planet

Impossible Hot Dogs are not only delicious but also eco-friendly. With 84% fewer greenhouse gas emissions, 77% less water usage, and 83% less land impact compared to their animal-based counterparts, these plant-based hot dogs embody sustainability.

The debut of Impossible Hot Dogs marks the seventh addition to Impossible Foods’ portfolio in the last 12 months. From gourmet indulgence to heart-healthy options, the company continues to redefine plant-based dining. The success of flagship products like Impossible Beef underscores the brand’s commitment to providing consumers with flavorful, sustainable alternatives.
