After a two-year hiatus, Natural Products Expo West is back in action! As the leading trade show in the natural, organic, and healthy products industry, this event is where retailers, buyers, investors, and members of the press get to learn about new brands and products. While the event is closed to the public, we’re here to report back on our findings. Here’s a list of 43 new vegan products we discovered at Expo West.
Chocolate Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches
This Austin-based vegan frozen dessert brand is reimagining all of your childhood faves. Their new Chocolate Vanilla Sandwiches, which come in at just 110 calories and 8g of sugar per serving, are made from vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, fair-trade ingredients.
If we told you we only had one sample of Melt Organic’s new Cheesy Spreadables at Expo West, we’d be lying. The moment we tasted the Queso Picante flavor, it automatically rose to the top of our favorite dips list. Enjoyed warm or cold, dipped or spread—the possibilities with these new spreads are endless!
Plant-Based Whipped Cream
Whether you prefer your plant-based whipped cream made from oat, coconut, or soy, Whipt has you covered! From ice cream sundaes to slices of pie, this vegan whipped cream is just what you need to top off your dessert.
Crunchy Pizza Rings
You might know PeaTos for their veganized Hot Cheetos, but not all of their products have been 100% vegan—most notably, their cheese-flavored chips and curls. At the expo, PeaTos debuted as an all-vegan brand with reformulated snacks in all of the nostalgic flavors. Their newest Crunchy Pizza Rings are our latest obsession.
Plant Based Bacon Breakfast Bowl
From burritos, quesadillas, and bowls to plant-based snack bars enhanced with adaptogens, Tattooed Chef is not playing around with all of its upcoming vegan launches. We’re most excited for the Plant Based Bacon Breakfast Bowl with vegan bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bell peppers drizzled in a cheesy sauce. Yes, it’s 100% vegan!
Emmy’s Organics is straying away from their classic soft and chewy vegan coconut cookies with the launch of their new Brownie Snaps. From peanut butter and chocolate chip to mint chip, these organic crunchy cuties are to die for!
When it comes to plant-based desserts and branding, Bon Dévil knocks it out of the park. Their vegan ganache cups are cool to look at, satisfying to eat, and kinder to your body than dairy-based ganaches. From chocolate and vanilla to caramelized banana and salted caramel chocolate, you’re bound to have a wicked good experience no matter what flavor you choose.
Mint Chip Oat Creamer
When it comes to vegan coffee creamer, Califia Farms is one of the best in show. At the expo, the brand added a vegan, gluten-free Mint Chip Oat Creamer to its vast portfolio. We can’t wait to stock up!
Plant-Based Chik’n Tikka Masala
Who said frozen dinners had to be boring? Deep Indian Kitchen’s new Plant-Based Chik’n Tikka Masala is jam-packed with flavor. Featuring plant-based chicken and creamy tomato sauce over a bed of cumin rice, this dish is tasty, satisfying—and best of all, easy to make!
One of the hottest products at the show was OZO’s Plant-Based Bacon. These new strips cook, taste, and look just like traditional bacon—without any animal products! The product is set to roll out later this year in Cracked Black Pepper, Applewood Smoke, and Spicy Jalapeño varieties.
Cultured Plant Milk Cottage Cheese
There are plenty of vegan cheese products out there in the form of slices, shreds, wedges, and cream cheese. But one product that hasn’t been done vegan is cottage cheese. Enter: Miyoko’s Creamery. The leading plant-based brand just debuted its Cultured Plant Milk Cottage Cheese, and we can’t wait for you to try it!
Plant-Based Feta-Style Block
There’s a new cheese on the block at Daiya—a Plant-Based Feta-Style Block! No matter the recipe or season, this crumbly cheese is great to have on hand. Is anyone down to bring back the feta pasta trend?
Toasted Coconut Butter Sunsauce
Not only does Sunscoop make some of the most realistic-tasting vegan ice creams on the market, but they just rolled out a set of dessert sauces that will pair perfectly with your scoops! We tried a sample of the Toasted Coconut Butter and absolutely LOVED it. There’s also a chocolate variety if that’s more your jam! Oh, did we mention this sauce hardens on ice cream like Magic Shell?
Fava Taco-Style Crumbles
Taco Tuesday just got so much easier with Upton’s Naturals’ heat-and-eat Fava Taco-Style Crumbles. This vegan meat alternative, made of fava bean protein, is gluten-free, soy-free, and seasoned to perfection.
Plant-Based Mac with Chickpea Pasta
Feeling cheesy? Banza’s new Plant-Based Mac with Chickpea Pasta is the perfect dish to whip up. This vegan, gluten-free mac ‘n’ cheese is made of chickpea pasta shells and plant-based white cheddar.
Plant-Based Vanilla Pea Milk
This Swedish-based plant milk company just released a new flavor! Sproud’s Plant-Based Vanilla Milk is smooth, creamy, and sweet. Made from pea protein, this vegan milk alternative offers higher protein than most.
Dairy-Free Cheese Sauce Mix
Uplevel your next dish with Simply Organic’s new Dairy-Free Cheese Sauce Mixes! When prepared, the convenient shelf-stable packets turn into Cheddar, White Cheddar, or Jalapeño Queso Blanco sauces that are great to pour over a bed of nachos, mix with noodles, or turn into a vegan broccoli cheddar soup.
Complete Cookie-fied Bar
Lenny & Larry’s has found a way to capture the taste and nutrition of their iconic protein cookies and make them into bars! The Complete Cookie-fied Bar comes in at 12g of protein and 5g of prebiotic fiber. In the flavors of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Creme, and Chocolate Almond Sea Salt, how can anyone resist?
All-Day Egg Scramble
Save yourself the hassle of pressing, marinating, and scrambling tofu and pick up a box of Hodo Foods’ All-Day Egg Scramble. The soy-based egg alternative is fully cooked and ready to heat and eat. We tried it in a vegan egg salad sandwich at the expo and fell in love at first bite!
Big move! Country Archer Provisions launched a line of Plant-Based Jerky, which is a huge deal because the brand only offered beef-based products in the past. This new mushroom jerky is soy-free, gluten-free, and made from all-vegan ingredients. The current flavor offerings include Spiced Bacon, Teriyaki, and BBQ.
Chocolate Dipped Protein Bars
No Cow specializes in vegan protein bars that are high in protein and low in sugar. Their classic bars are a solid chewy consistency but the brand just added some crunch with its new variety of Chocolate Dipped Protein Bars.
From vegan ice cream bars to sprinkles, Must Love is proof that plant-based desserts can be fun! This summer, the brand is rolling out a line of vegan cookies with no added sugar. The chocolate flavor is outstanding!
Grillo’s Pickles Hummus
Calling all pickle guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Ithaca Hummus now makes Grillo’s Pickles Hummus! Crafted in partnership with Grillo’s Pickles, this new spread is just what we’ll be adding to our veggie tray this spring.
Roasted Garlic & Smoky BBQ Nutritional Yeast
Bragg is diversifying their nutritional yeast portfolio with the launch of two new flavors—Roasted Garlic and Smoky BBQ. From pasta and pizza to tofu scramble, there are so many dishes to shake this new seasoning on.
Cloud-Shaped Grape Jam PB&J Sandwiches
After winning over customers’ hearts with their strawberry and blueberry jam PB&Js, Chubby Snacks is paying homage to OG grape jam in two new sandwiches. Their Almond Butter & Grape Jam and Peanut Butter & Grape Jam superfood sandwiches are set to hit retailers next month—and we can’t wait for you to try them!

Say hello to your new favorite snack brand! Hippie Snacks specializes in better-for-you crisps in a variety of delectable flavors. Their newest launch is the Almond Crisps line, featuring an epic Cheezy Chive flavor.

Spring and summer will be here in no time and Chloe’s Fruit debuted their No Sugar Added Strawberry and Grape Pops just in time! Made with real fruit and other simple ingredients, these frozen dessert bars are refreshingly delicious.
Chocolate Cake Mix
We were shocked when we read the ingredients list of GoodSam Foods’ new Chocolate Cake Mix. Almond flour, allulose, cocoa powder, leavening, corn starch, and salt—that’s it! You can make this cake vegan by combining the mix with chia or flax eggs and your plant-based milk of choice.
YumEarth recently launched its line of Choco Yums and all we have to say is M&M’s is quaking! Free from dairy, gluten, soy, and nuts, these colorful chocolate candies are a nostalgic nod to the past and a leap into the plant-based future.
Plantspired Plant-Based Steak
After debuting on WaBa Grill’s menu, Nasoya’s Plantspired Plant-Based Steak is rolling out in retailers this spring. It comes pre-sliced and seasoned with a sweet and savory Korean BBQ flavor so all you have to do is heat it up and enjoy!
