Hilton London Bankside debuted its contemporary vegan guest suite in 2019. From the furniture, flooring, and bedding to the toiletries, everything in the room is 100% vegan. There’s even a separate plant-based check-in desk where you’ll receive a vegan leather key card to enter your room!
The 495 square-foot suite, designed by Bompas & Parr, features a bedroom, lounge area, and bathroom furnished and dressed with natural, cruelty-free materials. A lot of pieces—like the headboard, seats, and couch cushions—are made from Piñatex, a pineapple-based vegan leather. The ground showcases sleek bamboo flooring decorated with organic cotton carpets. And even on the desk, you’ll find vegan-friendly stationary like pens, pencils, and notepads.
Most hotel beds contain wool and feathers. But Hilton Bankside handpicked a cruelty-free king-size mattress for plant-based customers to sleep comfortably in. In addition, the bed is made with sheets and pillows constructed from anti-bacterial, non-allergenic plant-based material that mimics traditional down.

Need to freshen up? The spacious bathroom in Hilton Bankside’s vegan suite is decked out with cruelty-free toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner. Down to the shower cap and nail kit, all of the hygiene and beauty products contain plant-based ingredients—packaged in recycled materials.
In between stays, the Hilton staff cleans this vegan suite with eco-friendly products. Specifically, they use Method’s non-toxic, animal-free sprays and solutions. And the linens are washed in natural, earth-conscious detergent.
