Get ready for some plant-based fun at the Kind Hearted Campout 2024!
Get ready, vegan adventurers! California’s first and only all-vegan camping festival, the Kind Hearted Campout, is back for its fourth year. Organized by the Kind Heart Coalition, this highly anticipated event will take place from October 10-13, 2024, at Harrison Serenity Ranch on Palomar Mountain, just 55 miles north of San Diego.
A Weekend of Compassionate Connection
The Kind Hearted Campout offers a unique blend of music, activism workshops, yoga, and art activities, making it a must-attend for anyone passionate about animal rights and community building. The event is family- and dog-friendly, with food and beverages from sponsors like Forager, Local Roots Kombucha, and Foods Alive. Attendees will also receive a commemorative t-shirt designed by renowned artist Brianna Baer.
Inspiring Activism and Education
This year’s agenda is packed with sessions aimed to empower activists. Don’t miss “Knowing Your Rights” with Jerry Friedman, along with workshops led by Brittany Drake of The Protego Foundation and Mason Melito from The Raven Corps. Bianca Adriana of JustUs Entertainment will return as emcee, guiding participants through an inspiring weekend.
Experience the Historic Harrison Serenity Ranch
Nestled in the Cleveland National Forest, the 67-acre Harrison Serenity Ranch offers an immersive, nature-filled experience. Surrounded by ancient oak trees and rich history, the ranch was once home to Nate Harrison, San Diego County’s first African American homesteader. Enjoy extensive hiking trails, an amphitheater, and outdoor showers in this serene setting.
Kind Heart Coalition co-founder Rachel Hosler said, “The Kind Hearted Campout is an incredible opportunity for personal growth as activists and as a community. Inclusivity remains our top priority, and by keeping registration costs low and partnering with generous sponsors and donors, we’re committed to ensuring everyone can join us.”
