After a three-year hiatus, Smorgasburg LA’s Super Vegan Sunday returns on February 12 with a fierce lineup of vegan eats. The LA market is not going entirely vegan for the day. Still, it will offer a tasty selection of vegan vendors, including Veggietize Me, Wolfie’s Hot Chicken, and the four finalists from LA Taco’s Vegan Taco Madness.
LA Taco’s Vegan Taco Madness Tournament
When it comes to the most vegan-friendly cities, LA usually makes it to the top of the list, especially if we’re talking plant-based Latine cuisine. So, to celebrate game day, Smorgasburg Super Vegan Sunday is hosting LA Taco‘s Vegan Taco Madness tournament—a tasty competition highlighting the best vegan tacos in the city.
LA Taco’s team carefully selected 16 flavorful contenders, and you can vote for your favorite right now! Over the next week, the nominated spots will be narrowed down to four finalists, who will then be invited to vend at Super Vegan Sunday before one is crowned Vegan Taco Madness Champion.

The taco tournament is in addition to Smorgasburg’s regular lineup of delicious plant-based options, including an array of mouthwatering specials from non-vegan vendors. Indulge in fried enoki mushroom sandwiches from Champignon Eats, vegan mac ‘n’ cheese from Avocadamama, plant-based Cuban food from The Great Food Truck Race champion Senoreata, the much-loved pita from B’ivrit, and so much more.
