Empowering the Next Generation to Become Changemakers and Leaders
The Paving Plant-Based Pathways: Empowering the Next Generation of Food System Leaders symposium is happening on January 28 and 29 and will feature keynote speakers Marion Nestle, a professor and award-winning author, and Michel Nishan, a chef and activist. The event will span two days—Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29. It will run from 9am to 5pm.
But that’s not all! There will also be loads of other experts and industry leaders from around the globe sharing their knowledge on topics like Promising Innovations in Plant-Centric Food Systems, Animal Agriculture & Justice, and The Ethics of Cultured Meat Research.
Plant Futures equips and empowers students with the necessary education, experience, and network to become changemakers and leaders in the food system revolution. Plant Futures also has student chapters across the country in cities from Miami to Portland, hosting a wide array of local and regional events, workshops, networking sessions, speaker series, happy hours, potlucks, and more!
