One-of-a-Kind Immersive Vegan Experience Comes to LA This November

A one-of-a-kind immersive vegan experience comes to LA this November, and you don’t want to miss it! That’s right, The Vkind Experience features immersive and experiential art installations, globally inspired food and drinks, a live DJ, marketplace, and even child care.

The Vkind Experience

It’s hard to explain the magic you’ll enjoy at the Vkind Experience, but let us try! The multi-faceted plant-based event transforms the 35,000-square-foot Magic Box in Downtown Los Angeles into a majestic and multi-sensory experience. Journey through 11 different rooms, each with a cohesive theme from visuals and sound effects to bites and sips! As well as photo opps, which are scattered throughout the space! Among the 11 rooms, 7 of them are themed after the different continents. There are four additional rooms with more food-specific concepts (sweet, raw, and fungi) as well as a VIP room.

Here’s a look at what you can expect in each room:

• The African Experience: Get ready to experience iconic elements of Africa like the great pyramids of Giza, the Serengeti, and traditional live African dancing. While you observe your surroundings, savor staple dishes with spices like chermoula, mitmita, and alligator pepper.
• The Asian Experience: In this room, enjoy beautiful Japanese blossom trees, bustling food markets, and traditional Indian weddings—all the while sampling foods of the region.
• The European Experience: From Parisian bistros to Spanish shores, this is the perfect space to live out your vegan European vacay dreams!
• The North American Experience: From the United States to Canada, and Mexico, this room offers collections of the continent’s vast flavors that unfold in curious manners.
• The Oceania Experience: An opportunity to swim through the Great Barrier Reef without actually swimming or getting wet? Sign us up! Be sure to grab some plant-based seafood and meet some mermaids while you’re there.
• The Polar Experience: Take a trip to Antarctica and walk through frozen sculptures and projections of polar bears. But don’t worry about the temperature, you can warm up with plant-based seafood and vegetables!
• The South American Experience: Bask in the glory of the Amazon River while enjoying iconic South American flavors including cayenne, chipotle, and cinnamon.
• The Fungi Experience: Mushrooms are so in right now! Make your way through some trippy visuals of fungi to enjoy tasty mushroom-based fare.
• The Raw Experience: In this room, embrace your innermost plant-lover with fruits and veggies in their purest form—fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and walls of vertical gardens galore! Bonus: You’ll also learn to grow your own food.
• The Sweet Experience: No culinary experience is complete without dessert! In this Wonka-inspired room, walk through candy gardens while indulging in rich desserts, candies, and Vkind’s vegan chocolate dipping fountain.
• The Kids Experience: Shoutout to Vkind for including a dedicated kids’ room with an animal-themed virtual world of sensory devices and games. The Vkind Experience also offers professional child care in this room, so you will have the option to leave your kids here for up to two hours while journeying through the other rooms.

Vegan Shopping, Live Music, and Red Carpet

Aside from these 11 immersive rooms, there are three other experiences at this event. First is the Network Experience—an outdoor marketplace to embark on vegan shopping, dance to live music, and take photos on the red carpet. The marketplace showcases cruelty-free fashion, homeware, and other sustainable lifestyle products. Now that you’ve shopped, get ready to drop into Vkind’s comfortable seating area where you can mingle with like-minded attendees. Before you leave, be sure to grab a picture on Vkind’s step-and-repeat red carpet, 360 photo area, and stop by the DJ booth to dance and jam out!

The Vkind VIP Experience

If you go for the VIP ticket, you’ll gain premium parking, access to the VIP Lounge, two complimentary drink tickets, and a gift bag with $200 worth of vegan goodies to take home. Expect to chat with influencers, artisans, and creatives while enjoying exclusive hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and mocktails—all in the most luxurious environment of the VIP Lounge.

New Short Film by Vkind Studios

As a final optional experience, stop by The Experiential Room for a screening of an all-new short film created by Vkind Studios, The Next Girl. The story follows a young girl trapped in a dystopian world of unthinkable injustice, that ends with a mind-shattering plot twist. Screenings take place in 20-minute increments. Please note this film is R-rated.

It’s going to leave people talking.”

Vegan Food and Drink Lineup

The vegan food and drink lineup is curated by well-known chefs and mixologists including vegan chefs Chris Tucker, Babette Davis, and Jaena Moynihan—all of whom participated in Vkind’s vegan cooking show, Peeled. As previously mentioned, there is a sampling of exquisite dishes from various international regions and cultures throughout the rooms. But did you know that The Vkind Experience also serves as the debut of YoEgg’s vegan quail-sized egg? Keep an eye out for it in The Asian Experience room to be one of the first to try this new product. Get Tickets to The Vkind Experience

The Vkind Experience takes place on November 11 and 12. Tickets can be purchased online in one of two time frames—12-3pm or 3-6pm. General admission tickets include access to all rooms but the VIP Lounge, as well as all food and drink, except alcoholic beverages. VIP tickets include everything from general admission plus two drink tickets for mocktails and cocktails, exclusive bites, parking, and the option to enter the event one hour early at 11am.

A portion of all ticket sales will go directly to supporting organizations that help people, the planet, and animals, such as Saffyre Sanctuary, Vegans of LA, One Tree Planted, and UnchainedTV.
