2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

The 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival takes place March 3 to April 25. The festival is a long-standing tradition of California Adventure, having first offered the unique foodie experience in 2006. Although plentiful in food booths in general, this will be Disneyland’s first experience with a fully vegan booth—Paradise Garden Grill.

“Our culinary team was up for the challenge of an all plant-based menu and we approached this menu the way we would approach developing any menu here, which is to create delicious food. This one is just plant-based,” shared Executive Chef of Disney California Adventure Park, Chef Juan Lugo-Nunez.

Vegan Food Options at Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Paradise Garden Grill will offer guests the following five, fully vegan options:

  • Bulgogi Fried Rice with kimchi, pickled cucumbers, green onions, and sesame seeds
  • Impossible Gyro Fries featuring waffle fries topped with gyro-spiced Impossible ground beef, cauliflower cheese sauce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, tzatziki, and pita bread
  • Buffalo Mac and Cheese topped with roasted Buffalo cauliflower, ranch, and carrot & celery salad
  • Peach-Blueberry Cobbler

Additionally, there will be plant-based kids’ meal options at Paradise Garden Grill and one vegan offering at the Avocado Time booth: an Impossible Al Pastor Taco featuring Impossible Pork with grilled pineapple and avocado-tomatillo sauce.

More Vegan Food Options at Disney California Adventure Park

Although Disneyland’s delicious Bulgogi Fried Rice and Torta de Chilaquiles will retire after April 25, there are plenty of delicious vegan offerings available year-round at Disney California Adventure park.

Visit the Lamplight Lounge for a flavorful Pastrami-Spiced Impossible Burger with a side of vegan potato skins. Or delight in an Impossible Banh Mi served with lemongrass-cucumber salad at the Lucky Fortune Cookery. And no trip to Disney would be complete without their Dole Whip Pineapple Soft Serve!

These are just a handful of Disney California Adventure’s plant-based offerings. You can clearly determine if a dish at Disney is vegan by finding their “plant-based” icon, which denotes that a dish does not contain meat, dairy, eggs, or honey.

Stop by the 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival between now and April 25, 2023 to enjoy their wide selection of new vegan dishes! Stay up to date with Disneyland at Disneyland.Disney.Go.com.
