VegFest returns to Portland with vegan food, speakers, demos, and community activities.
After a five-year break, VegFest is back! Join the celebration of compassion, community, and 20 years of Northwest VEG at The Compassionate Living Festival in Portland, Oregon. Mark your calendars for September 28 from 12 to 6pm at Norse Hall (111 NE 11th Avenue).
Tickets and Event Details
Tickets are $20 for adults (ages 11+), just $1 for kids under 10, and $40 for a membership package, which includes a year-long NW VEG membership and one adult ticket. Don’t forget to check out the Facebook event page for the full lineup of vendors, speakers, and activities!

You’ll also find artisanal crafts like candles, soap, jewelry, and hand-dyed yarn, perfect for gifts or personal keepsakes. And don’t miss out on children’s activities hosted by The Vegan Scouts.
Chef Demos and Inspiring Speakers
Learn plant-based cooking techniques from celebrated chefs like Chuck Underwood, Deb Kay, and Linda Tyler, who will each host cooking demos. Keynote speaker Brenda Davis, a renowned dietitian, will dive into the power of plant-based proteins, alongside talks from Cory Davis and Erin Wing, a leading advocate for animal welfare.

Catch a panel discussion featuring Chelsea V Davis and Eunice Reyes on how to support the vegan community through dining, travel, and sustainable living. This festival, presented in partnership with Veggies Do It Better Events, highlights the voices of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and women.
