Veganizer’s World Vegan Month 2024 dining program brings 33 Portland food businesses together from November 1-30, offering plant-based specials.
World Vegan Month kicks off on November 1, and Veganizer is leading the celebration with its second annual plant-based dining program! Running through November 30, this month-long event will feature 33 Portland food businesses, each offering special vegan dishes and donating a portion of sales to a nonprofit of their choice.
A Feast of Returning Favorites and New Specials
This year’s program includes local favorites like Mis Tacones, Norah, Obon Shokudo, and Mirisata. Crowd-pleasers from 2023, like Boxcar Pizza’s festive Mock Gobbler pie and Rad Magic Subs’ Honey Pear sub, make a comeback. New creations join the mix too—Lilla’s squash and chestnut risotto, Feral’s fried tofu sandwich, and Exquisite Creatures’ torched marshmallow latte offer something for everyone.
Vegan Options from Food Carts, Cafés, and More
Participating businesses also include vegetarian spots like Harlow Cafe + Juice Bar and Maruti Indian Restaurant, eager to share their vegan creations. Beyond brick-and-mortar restaurants, pop-ups like The Vegan Syrian and farmers market vendors like Camellia Pistrina and Poppy Shop bring variety to the lineup. Aimsir Distilling’s foamy bourbon and apple cider cocktail, “The Fallback,” pairs perfectly with Jade Rabbit’s mycelium-based salt and pepper squid.
Get Your Dining Passport and Win Big
To encourage foodies to explore the offerings, diners can collect stamps in a special dining passport. Eight stamps qualify you for a chance to win a grand prize: a $25 gift card to all 33 businesses. Additional prizes include $50 gift cards to select restaurants. Passports and entries are available at any participating location. For the full list of participating restaurants, click here.
