Looking to improve your plant-based cooking? Meet Watson’s Seasoning Blends, a woman- and minority-owned artisanal spice company based in Los Angeles, California. Watson’s was created by vegans for vegans, and the products are meant to enhance both whole, plant-based dishes, and processed vegan favorites alike. Either way you spin it, Watson’s Seasoning Blends were made for plant-based cooking!

Sustainable and Clean Spice Brand

Founded and operated by longtime vegan Lori Amos and her husband Jim in 2021, Watson’s Seasoning Blends are now available online! After transitioning to a whole food plant-based diet, Lori sought to enhance her meals with herbs, spices, and seasonings. She found her home seasoning lineup to be messy and full of unsustainable plastic containers, compelling her to create a more sustainable and clean spice brand free of chemicals, pesticides, and mystery ingredients.

“We wanted to find a way to make it easier for consumers—whether they be vegan, flexitarian or omnivore—to enjoy eating fresh, healthy, less processed food by making these dishes more flavorful and even crave-worthy,” stated Lori, Watson’s founder.

Watson’s Seasoning Blends

Watson’s Seasoning Blends can be found in six creative spice mixes—California Everything, a tasty all-purpose seasoning; Yumami, a mushroom-rich flavor enhancer; Nudish, a mild blend of citrus and herbs; Furikake, a Pacific Ocean kelp blend; Nord, a Northern Italian spice mix made with Mediterranean oregano, fennel, and sweet basil; and Sud, a Southern Italian blend. The brand also has two Latin-American spice mixes launching in March of 2022. All of Watson’s chef-crafted blends are vegan, non-GMO, organic, and ethically sourced.
