We’re screaming from the rooftops because a new fully vegan fast food spot, Screamin Vegan, just opened up in Roanoke, Virginia.
Screamin Vegan is a small spot with big flavor! Recently launched at the top of the year, the menu has been bringing in vegans and non-vegans alike. For those looking for fast food on a plant-based diet without breaking the bank, Chef Thomas Leanord wants to make plant-based food accessible for everyone. Most combos are under $15, with individual items even more budget-friendly.
Standout menu options include the crab cake topped with Louisiana remoulade, BBQ jackfruit sliders with apple cider slaw, hot dogs with house-made “cheese” sauce, and hearty loaded quinoa bowls. There are always several daily and weekly specials in rotation, too.
Screamin Vegan is open for takeout only for now, with hopes to have outdoor seating as spring approaches. Closed on Monday and Tuesday, the new hot spot is open from 1-7pm Tuesday through Thursday and 1-8pm Friday and Saturday. For more information, follow them on Instagram.
