There is no end in sight for vegan entrepreneur Pinky Cole!
Slutty Vegan, Atlanta burger empire, announces the opening of their ninth Slutty Vegan restaurant—this time in Harlem, New York. The new location, which will feature creative takes on vegan burgers, sandwiches, and other menu items made with plant-based meat, will offer carry-out and delivery for lunch, dinner, and late-night.
Slutty Vegan’s Risqué Menu Items
At Slutty Vegan, owner Pinky Cole’s first mission is to get you “sluttified.” Initiate yourself with their Sloppy Toppy (a plant-based patty loaded with jalapeños, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and their Slut Sauce on a vegan Hawaiian bun) or Chik‘n Head (Incogmeato plant-based chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, topped with pickles, vegan ranch, and coleslaw on a vegan Hawaiian bun) to join the ranks of sluttified celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Taraji P. Henson, Tyler Perry, and Queen Latifah.
Slutty Vegan’s NYC Expansion
The new Harlem location represents a full circle moment for Cole, who returns to the neighborhood where she started—six years after losing her first restaurant to a grease fire. In addition to the new Harlem location, Cole is expanding the company’s distribution in Brooklyn by opening a catering hub in partnership with Cloud Kitchens. The spot will service Bed Stuy, Fort Greene, Canarsie, Williamsburg, Flatbush, and Crown Heights. Customers will be able to order Slutty Vegan deliveries from the virtual kitchen via DoorDash, Fooda, Tripleseat, Grubhub, Uber Eats and EatOkra.
The new location in Harlem follows Slutty Vegan’s Brooklyn opening last fall. The company’s other brick-and-mortar locations are in the Edgewood, Jonesboro, Duluth, and West View neighborhoods of Atlanta, Georgia; Athens, Georgia; and Birmingham, Alabama.
Pinky Cole’s New Cookbook, Eat Plants, B*tch
Last year, Cole extended her influence in the culinary world by releasing a cookbook, Eat Plants, B*tch, which features 91 vegan recipes for incredibly delicious meals. This collection, which includes tips and tricks to elevate cooking skills, has been recognized with a nomination for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Instructional Literary Work.
