The vegan restaurant chain is expanding coast to coast!

Plant-lovers rejoice! PLANTA, a renowned collective of 100% vegan restaurants, has announced its expansion to three new locations across the United States. Since launching its first location in Toronto in 2016, the brand has opened 11 additional locations in the US and Canada! The three new spots—in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles (Marina del Rey and Brentwood)—will bring PLANTA’s innovative plant-based cuisine to more diners.

PLANTA Queen Washington, D.C. Is Now Open

PLANTA Queen (PLANTA’s Asian-inspired concept) Washington, D.C. location officially opened its doors last month on April 26 (located at 1200 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20036). The restaurant’s menu takes inspiration from Chef David Lee’s favorite dishes from across Asia. Guests can enjoy a variety of mouthwatering options like Unagi Eggplant Nigiri, Ahi Watermelon Nigiri, Spinach Shiitake, Udon Noodles, Bang Bang Broccoli, and an array of to-die-for dumplings! The restaurant’s interior design is also noteworthy, as it transports guests into traditional Chinese courtyards and architectural gems found throughout Asia.

PLANTA Hits the West Coast with Two Los Angeles Locations Opening Soon

You asked, and PLANTA listened. The first West Coast location of PLANTA will open in Marina del Rey on May 25, and it will be the brand’s first US-based PLANTA Cocina! This zesty new restaurant concept will offer a menu inspired by Pan-Latin cuisine, featuring flavorful dishes, including birra tacos, empanadas, queso, watermelon salad, and loaded nachos.

PLANTA has also announced a new restaurant in Brentwood that will open later this summer, although details are still being kept under wraps.

From the beginning, it’s been PLANTA’s mission to make plant-based dining more accessible and acceptable to all. With its expansion to these new locations, the brand continues to push the boundaries of plant-based cuisine, offering an enjoyable dining experience for everyone.
