Good Intentions will be serving up new American fare in the Grand Central District in spring of 2022.
St. Petersburg has seen a lot of new vegan businesses join its community over the past couple of years, and it doesn’t look like the vegan influx is slowing down anytime soon. Fully vegan restaurant Good Intentions—a passion project between three other local vegan businesses—is set to open in St. Petersburg spring of 2022.
Good Intentions: Modern, Minimalistic Dining with a Full Bar
Good Intentions will be located in the 3,700 square foot Quonset hut at 1900 1st Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712, next to the popular Spitfire Comedy House. The restaurant will seat 100 guests and will have a modern, upscale interior filled with open spaces, plants, and minimalist decor.
Playing a central role in the decor will be a full, vintage U-shaped bar serving up classic cocktails like gin fizzes, whiskey sours, and Bloody Marys. An extensive beer and wine menu will also be available, as well as a full mocktail list for those looking to enjoy a great drink without the alcohol.
Hours are yet to be determined, but expect full dinner service throughout the week and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
From the Minds Behind Golden Dinosaurs, Black Radish, and Nah Dogs
Good Intentions is the brainchild of the owners of three classic St. Petersburg vegan favorites: Golden Dinosaurs (a vegan restaurant serving classic burgers and sandwiches), Black Radish (a fully vegan grocery store), and Nah Dogs (a vegan hot dog cart).
While all three of these vegan businesses have loyal followings and mouthwatering vegan food, you won’t find any of Nah Dogs’ craveable hot dogs or any of Golden Dinosaurs’ iconic burgers on the Good Intentions menu. Instead, Good Intentions will be cooking up a brand new menu that will be completely its own.
