A new fully-vegan fine dining concept is coming to Wilmington, North Carolina!
The Green House, founded by Laura Tiblier and business partner, Anastasia Worrell, is set to launch at the start of summer and puts vegetables on display with innovative and picturesque dishes to match the elegant atmosphere of an upscale restaurant. Even better, the new brick-and-mortar will be taking over an old Moe’s Southwest Grill location.
The new restaurant will feature a menu of nutrient-dense, fresh, and flavorful dishes, with a focus on real ingredients, steering away from mock-meat alternatives. Vegetables are the star, paired with nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains to create a high-end New American cuisine to attract diners of all diets and lifestyles. The menu is currently being developed, but guests can expect several appetizers and entrées including spiced eggplant chips, hearts of palm fritters, vegan charcuterie boards, hearty salads, lentil ragu, mushroom stroganoff, weekend brunch, and a dessert menu that includes panna cotta and almond torte.
The Green House also looks to be sustainable wherever possible, opting for vegan leather decor made from cactus as opposed to many types that contain plastic, and the team hopes to build a greenhouse to grow the restaurant’s lettuces and herbs.
The Green House will be located at 1427 Military Cutoff Road, Unit 106, Wilmington, NC 28403 and open daily from 11am to 10pm. For more information on the opening and menu additions follow The Green House on Instagram (@TheGreenHouseOnline) or check out TheGreenRestaurant.com.
