Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli secured nationwide distribution of the brand’s vegan deli products in over 1,000 grocery stores. Wegmans, Fresh Thyme, HEB, Whole Foods, Giant Food, and Ralphs have all agreed to stock their refrigerated shelves with Unreal Corn’d Beef and Unreal Roasted Turk’y within the first few months of 2021. Prior to entering the retail space, Unreal Deli meats could be found at select Los Angeles-based restaurants and regional chains.
The company launched just over two years ago in the tiny kitchen of Jenny Goldfarb—a mom turned vegan who missed her New York deli staples. She soon secured funding thanks to Shark Tank’s
celebrity investor Mark Cuban, and the business has rapidly expanded from there.
In addition to national and regional grocers, Unreal Deli meats can be purchased online. Goldfarb is currently working on her next meaty creation—Unreal Steak Slices—which will be available later this year.
