The vegan, gluten-free restaurant opens a second location this month!
The beloved JOi Cafe Expands to Thousand Oaks this November with a new vegan concept, JOiBIRDS. Stop by the new branch to enjoy iconic JOi Cafe favorites as well as new menu items like vegan cheese boards, ice cream, waffles, beer, and wine.
JOi Cafe in Westlake Village
JOi Cafe first opened in Westlake Village nine years ago under the direction of Joi Stearns and Nic Johanson. The restaurant offers a full menu of coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast and lunch offerings as well as holiday meal kits—all of which are vegan and gluten-free. Over the years, JOi Cafe has attracted many plant-based celebs including Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Joanne Molinaro (The Korean Vegan), and more.

JOiBIRDS in Thousand Oaks
After nine successful years in Westlake Village, JOi Cafe announced the grand opening of its second location, JOiBIRDS, in Thousand Oaks, this month. The new space, located in the Santal Luxury Apartments, features stunning architecture and design, making JOiBIRDS an ideal place to work, meet up with friends, or take a break to enjoy the ambience. “Art has played a crucial role in bringing JOiBIRDS to life. Not only in the culinary creations but also in the design and architecture, art has been intricately intertwined, giving birth to a visually stunning space. Every detail has been meticulously crafted with passion and love by individuals deeply rooted in the community of Thousand Oaks,” Stearns told VegOut.
