These new links are perfect for grilling season!
As the popularity of plant-based eating grows, brands are continuing to refine and expand their vegan offerings. That’s why we’re here to help you stay in the know on all of the hottest vegan launches! The latest drop? Impossible Sausage Links! We got a chance to try this new meat alternative before its retail launch. When we tell you Impossible Foods’ brand new vegan sausage links cook, sizzle, and taste like their pork-based counterparts, we mean it!
Bratwurst, Italian, and Spicy Flavor Varieties
If you like Impossible Foods’ ground sausage, then you’ll love these new links! That’s because the Impossible Sausage Links are made by stuffing the brand’s famous ground sausage into a plant-based casing. The new grillable product is available in Bratwurst, Italian, and Spicy flavor varieties—all enhanced with Impossible Foods’ signature seasoning blends.
On the nutrition side of things, Impossible Sausage Links come in at 11-12g of protein, 0g of cholesterol, and 16-17g of total fat per serving. In comparison to the leading sausage, these plant-based links are lower in total fat and cholesterol. They’re also better for the environment—using 79% less water, 71% less greenhouse gas emissions, and 41% less land.
Impossible Vegan Sausage Links Will Make You Do a Double-Take
The big selling point is that these vegan sausage links perform and taste just like pork-based sausage. From the sizzles and pops on the grill to the distinct flavor, these Impossible Sausage Links will make you do a double-take.
“We didn’t compromise when it came to making sure Impossible Sausage Links deliver all the satisfying snap and sizzle that consumers love about pork sausage. Our innovative technology platform and consumer-focused design approach allowed us to finesse everything from the spice mix to the casing and stuffing process, and we really perfected it to give consumers the opportunity to enjoy what they love most about pork sausage from pigs without sacrificing on taste, versatility, or environmental impact,” shared Laura Kliman, Director of New Product Development at Impossible Foods.
