The popular vegan-friendly sushi restaurant is making its three Veganuary specials a permanent fixture on its menu.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill, an already vegan-friendly restaurant, has announced they will continue to cater to vegan patrons with the addition of three more vegan items to their permanent menu.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill Has Successful Veganuary

Blue Sushi Grill has long since been a place where vegans can find tasty options. For Veganuary this year, the restaurant dropped three new vegan options alongside a vegan version of its at-home sushi kit. Additionally, the restaurant offered double points on its mobile app for all vegan items ordered during the month of January.

Due to the success of the new vegan options, Blue Sushi Sake Grill has decided to make the three new vegan items permanent fixtures on their menu at all 16 locations. The Build Your Own at-home vegan sushi kit—which comes with all the ingredients you’ll need to make two each of their Veggie, Green Goddess, Avo Kaluna, and Unami Express rolls—is here to stay as well.

The new vegan items include a vegan version of their famed Tuna Tower (made with sesame- and ponzu-marinated vegan tuna from Current Foods) as well as two vegan rolls: the Vegan Hot Night and the Vegan Black Dragon. The Vegan Hot Night is made with vegan shrimp tempura, avocado, vegan tuna, sesame seeds, and sriracha, while the Vegan Black Dragon is filled with BBQ eggplant eel tempura, vegan cream cheese, vegan shrimp tempura, black tobiko caviart, and sweet soy sauce.

Vegan Options at Blue Sushi Sake Grill

Aside from the new vegan menu items, Blue Sushi Sake Grill has tons of other vegan options. Their vegan maki menu consists of 18 different vegan roll options, and almost all of their starters are vegan or can be made vegan. Other vegan dishes include Brussels sprouts tossed in creamy lemon miso sauce, tofu lettuce wraps, and seven different vegan nigiri options. All vegan dishes are clearly marked “VG” on the menu.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill currently has restaurants all across the country and has plans to open two new locations in Nashville and Houston soon. Visit BlueSushiSakeGrill.com to browse the full menu and to find the location nearest you.
