Everything Legendary, a Black-owned plant-based burger company, just secured a juicy $300,000 deal from Shark Tank veteran Mark Cuban while appearing on the program in February. Since airing, the company has sold over $500,000 in product with sales continuing to skyrocket! CEO Duane “Myko” Cheers, Chef Jumoke Jackson, and president Danita Claytor make up the team of legends behind the burgers. The trio has set out to create flavorful patties that any vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian can enjoy, with emphasis on flavor created by a seasoned chef, not a laboratory.

The burgers are even mom-approved, as the recipes have been beneficial to Duane’s mom (living with Lupus and looking for healthier options) and Danita’s mom (who was battling cancer). The Maryland-based HBCU graduates are on a mission to create plant-based meats that not only taste great, but are healthy and fueling, too. Each soy- and gluten-free 4oz patty packs over 21g of protein and can be grilled like any other burger on the market.

Though primarily available online and in select stores (including Giant, Safeway, and Acme), the business is expanding quickly and will be scheduling more pop-ups soon. For more information, visit their website or follow them on Instagram for the latest pop-up and product announcements.
