Plant-based catering company DC Vegan adds an all-new delicatessen café—and it’s set to open in Dupont on May 1st.

The cruelty-free deli plans to offer familiar classics made with inventive preparations and organic ingredients. These from-scratch offerings will include sharable eats, handheld sandwiches, loaded bowls, and tasty desserts. With vegetable-forward options like scampi toast, fried artichoke sandwiches, and antipasti bowls on the menu, you might just want one of everything.

The new DC-based delicatessen café will be located at 1633 P Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 in the space that most recently housed Nazca Mochica Peruvian Restaurant.

Beyond the tasty, casual fare, DC Vegan will continue offering plant-based catering services for weddings, parties, and a variety of get-togethers. Customers may choose from breakfast dishes, boxed lunches, and dinner platters featuring pasta, chef-inspired entrees, and craveable desserts.

Can’t get enough of the cruelty-free, casual eats across the nation? DC Vegan is the sister company of Cleveland Vegan, a plant-based eatery featuring organic, scratch kitchen cuisine located in Lakewood, Ohio.
