Deliver a clear line, then stop. Many conflicts are inflamed by the extra twenty words we add to feel safe. Precision plus quiet is powerful.

4) Notice your triggers.
If you find yourself rushing to speak, ask: What am I trying to control? The urge to explain is usually an urge to manage how others see us. Silence is a vote for self-trust.

5) Match silence with action.
Silence should not replace accountability. If you owe someone an answer or repair, deliver it—after you’ve thought. Thoughtful speech lands; reactive speech ricochets.
