9 Ready-to-Drink Non-Alcoholic Cocktails for Dry January

For those times when you’re craving a good mixed drink without the alcohol!

Non-alcoholic beer and wine have been around for a while, but these last couple years have seen an increase in popularity of non-alcoholic cocktails. Whether you’re trying to cut back for Dry January or are just looking for an alternative to your favorite drink, here are 9 ready-to-drink non-alcoholic cocktails for you to enjoy!

Please note that some of these non-alcoholic cocktails contain trace amounts (<0.5%) of alcohol.

Crisp & Crude

Vegan, 0.0% ABV

Crisp & Crude makes botanical and hemp-infused non-alcoholic cocktails. Their current line includes a pineapple mule, a sparkling old fashioned made with chocolate Thai terpenes, a refreshing grapefruit Paloma, and an OG tonic made with lime and juniper. Flavors are available in traditional or with 20mg of hemp extract added to each can. Orders can be placed online, with orders over $30 qualifying for free shipping. Crisp & Crude can also be found in a small number of grocery and liquor stores across the US. Check the brand’s store locator to find the location nearest you.

Lyre’s makes just about every non-alcoholic spirit you could hope for, from Absinthe and Vermouth to Rum and Coffee Liquor. Their new line of ready-to-drink non-alcoholic canned cocktails includes classics like the G & T and the American Malt & Cola, as well as the Amalfi Spritz (their take on an Aperol Spritz) and the Dark & Spicy (their version of a Dark & Stormy made with dark rum and ginger beer). Lyre’s canned non-alcoholic cocktails come in 4-packs, and orders can be placed here.

Sun Chaser

Vegan, 0.0% ABV

Sun Chaser makes canned non-alcoholic cocktails that still give you a buzz. How? From the addition of three nootropic supplements (GABA, 5-HTP, and L-Theanine) that are known to relax the mind and improve your mood. The result is a light buzz with no alcohol needed! Sun Chaser currently has one flavor—Hibiscus Sunrise—which comes in packs of 8 and can be purchased here. Use code DRYJAN20 for 20% off all orders placed in January.

SPIRITY Cocktails

Vegan, <0.5% ABV

Spirity Cocktails makes their canned non-alcoholic cocktails by distilling and fermenting tea into their own non-alcoholic spirit. That spirit is used as a base for their four current flavors: Mindful Mule, Mindful Negroni, Mindful Apricot Sour, and Mindful Margarita. Because these cocktails are made with fermented tea, they have a bite similar to alcohol that many other non-alcoholic cocktails are missing. SPIRITY Cocktails are sold on Amazon in 4- or 24-packs.

Kin Euphorics

Vegan, 0.0% ABV

Kin Euphorics is another company using adaptogens and nootropics to create a buzz-filled experience without the alcohol. Kin Euphorics’ two canned non-alcoholic cocktail options are Kin Spritz and Lightwave. Kin Spritz is made with Rhodiola Rosea, 5-HTP, and GABA to promote relaxation and clarity and has notes of ginger, bitters, and citrus for a refreshing finish. Lightwave is made with reishi mushrooms and L-tryptophan to induce a calming and relaxing effect, and its warm flavor profile of lavender, vanilla, and oak makes this a perfect drink to wind down with at the end of the day. Both flavors come in 8- and 16-packs and can be purchased here.

De Soi

Vegan, 0.0% ABV

De Soi makes canned non-alcoholic cocktails filled with adaptogens like maca, lemon balm, ashwagandha, and reishi mushrooms to help the body regulate and fight off stress and fatigue. The brand currently offers three flavors: Golden Hour (yuzu and chamomile), Purple Lune (blackberry and rose), and Champignon Dreams (strawberry and birch). All three flavors can be purchased in 4-packs or a variety 12-pack here. Orders over $50 qualify for free shipping.

Their current product line ranges from Curious No 1 (their take on a Negroni) to Curious No 5 (a smoked, cherry-chocolate old fashioned). Curious No 2, 3, and 4 cover the range of remaining flavor profiles, from a spicy margarita + dark & stormy mix to a classic Cucumber Collins and Aperol Spritz. Bottles can be ordered in 4- or 12-packs here, or sign up for their Cocktail Club and get your favorite flavors shipped to you each month.

Tofu Tikkā Recipe

Tikkā is a northern Indian dish involving marinated protein or vegetables cooked in a tandoor, or clay oven. My version is made with marinated tofu baked on skewers in a conventional oven to mimic the traditional cooking vessel, which adds a char and smokiness to the dish. Using smoked paprika further pays tribute to the traditional cooking technique. This tikkā is best served hot with cooling mint chutneys and is delicious in lettuce wraps as well. For lettuce wraps, dice the tofu and vegetables into smaller pieces after cooking and fill the lettuce leaves just before serving.
