1 Hotel Mayfair has opted for reconstruction over new construction, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. Built to BREEAM Excellent standards, it repurposed 80% of the existing structure to minimize its environmental footprint. Biophilia-inspired design is evident throughout the hotel, with living green-trellised exterior walls, moss walls in guest rooms, British Oak flooring, and Welsh slate bathroom vanities. More than 200 plant species and 1,300 individual plants flourish across the property.
