Kind Hearted Campout makes its comeback for its second annual event!

Kind Hearted Campout is back with their fun-filled event this fall! Located in San Diego, the vegan camping festival will offer a host of fun-filled events for its attendees. Last year’s event was so successful that they’re adding an additional day! This will be the ultimate experience to end the summer season.

Kind Hearted Campout

Kind Heart Coalition—a group dedicated to creating a safe space for all social justice movements—hosts the vegan camping event. The event is a grassroots effort intended to bring together like-minded, compassionate individuals through animal rights education. “Inclusiveness is our greatest priority. By keeping the registration costs low and partnering with sponsors and donors, we can ensure that no one is excluded,” said Melanie Bazzell, co-founder of Kind Heart Coalition.

The whole family, including furry friends, is welcome to take part in the vegan festival! You will enjoy a packed three-day itinerary. Events include yoga classes, activism workshops, games, art activities, and more. All tasty meals and beverages are provided by vegan favorites. Some of the top brands include Follow Your Heart, Local Roots Kombucha, and Minor Figures. In addition, vegan activists will lead powerful discussions throughout the weekend. Hear from speakers like community organizer Gwenna Hunter and documentarian Raven Deerbrook.

A Grassroots Vegan Festival

The sacred grounds of a historic 67-acre ranch in the Cleveland National Forest will be the site of this year’s event. The area was once owned by Nate Harrison, a formerly enslaved person. Harrison was the first African American homesteader in San Diego county. Located on Palomar Mountain, the campout will take place at Harrison Serenity Ranch. The ranch features hiking trails, beautiful viewpoints, and an amphitheater!

You can attend Kind Hearted Campout this fall from September 2-5! So, visit KindHeartCoalition.org to view ticket prices and to learn more about this fun-filled event.
