Grab your friends and family and head to this one-day event filled with vegan food and Halloween fun!
On Sunday, October 29, the Greensboro community is set for a vibrant celebration dedicated to embracing a cruelty-free lifestyle, supporting a cleaner environment, and advocating for a healthier planet. Triad Veganfest, organized by the team behind Vegfest Expos and Triangle Vegfest, along with Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary, aims to highlight the merits of plant-based choices while showcasing the resources of vegan-friendly businesses and organizations within the Triad area and beyond.
A Feast for the Senses and the Soul
This event promises a day filled with culinary wonders. Attendees can relish plant-based delights, savor samples, and partake in giveaways from various vendors. With names like Superieur Electrolytes, Stuffyman’s Vegan Stuff, and AJ’s Cheesecakes among the many participants, the festival ensures a tantalizing experience. As guests indulge their taste buds, the lively atmosphere will be complemented by a DJ and host MZ Jazzy, while the Family Fun Zone caters to kids with engaging activities for all ages.
In the spirit of Halloween, a safe trick-or-treat session invites both children and adults to join in costume and take part in the fun-filled contest with exciting prizes.
The festival is not just about food; it’s a showcase of around 30 vendors offering a diverse array of animal-friendly wellness and beauty products, apparel, health services, educational resources, and much more. Stay updated with the live vendor map available on the event’s Facebook page or at TriadVeganfest.com.
Sustainable Practices
The event encourages eco-friendly practices such as bringing your own bags or bottles, composting, and using recycling bins. Alkaline water, provided by the Appalachian Water Collective, is available for purchase in an effort to reduce plastic waste.
