The beloved vegan macaron company wraps up operations after years of sweet success.
After four and a half years of redefining plant-based indulgence, Verón, the beloved vegan and gluten-free macaron brand, has announced it will be closing its doors. Known for its innovative flavors, high-quality ingredients, and dedication to sustainability, Verón has sold over 500,000 macarons and partnered with over 100 retailers nationwide.
“This decision was not an easy one,” said Shera Fournier, Founder of Verón. “Verón started as a passion project to prove that plant-based treats could be just as luxurious and delicious as traditional pastries. What followed was beyond anything I could have imagined—countless pop-ups, collaborations, and the most amazing community of customers and partners. I am endlessly grateful for the love and support Verón has received over the years.”
Last Chance to Order
Fans of Verón can still place final online orders through Friday, March 28, with the last shipments going out on Monday, March 31. Local customers will have one last chance to pick up their favorite macarons in person on Saturday, March 29, from 9am to 5pm.
Looking to the Future
Though Verón is closing, Fournier hints at new possibilities on the horizon. “I’m excited for what’s next and hope to share more details in the coming months. But for now, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Verón. This journey has meant the world to me.”
