The 2025 Veganuary Workplace Challenge is uniting industries in a powerful push for sustainability, health, and compassion!

Veganuary is kicking off 2025 with an impressive expansion of its workplace challenge, drawing participation from a wider array of industries and municipalities. Known for promoting plant-based eating during January, Veganuary is now working with employers across diverse sectors, including media, education, solar, and manufacturing, to encourage healthier, more sustainable, and inclusive workplaces.

Diverse Industry Participation

This year, prominent companies like EY (Ernst & Young), the City of San Antonio, LUSH, and many more have joined the Veganuary workplace challenge. These organizations are making strides in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by offering employees the chance to explore vegan living for 31 days. With companies from sectors such as food, engineering, finance, software, and government onboard, the reach of Veganuary continues to grow.

Driving Sustainability and Health

The Veganuary Workplace Challenge aligns with the goals of many organizations aiming to reduce carbon emissions and promote employee well-being. Sandra Hungate, Veganuary’s US Director, said, “Veganuary gives people the power to make the world a little kinder, greener, and healthier this new year. So it’s great to see so many employers encouraging and supporting their employees in eating more plant-based this January as part of Veganuary’s Workplace Challenge. It’s a fun way to unite the team in a shared experience.”
