From the creators of Monty’s Good Burger and Nic’s on Beverly, Argento is bound to be an immediate hit!
In case you missed it, Little Pine mysteriously closed under its new ownership last fall. Since then, the future of the space remained unknown. That was, until the announcement of Argento last month. The new vegan Italian restaurant opens in the former Little Pine space this summer!
Los Angeles Vegan Restaurateur Nic Adler
Argento is the latest project from vegan restaurateur Nic Adler—who you may know from his other restaurants, which include Nic’s on Beverly, Forever Pie, and Monty’s Good Burger. If there’s one thing we know about Adler’s restaurants, it’s that they never miss. So we’re definitely hitting up Argento when it opens in Silver Lake this summer.

Argento’s Vegan Italian Menu
The vegan Italian menu at Argento features local seasonal produce at the forefront of each dish, with an intentional choice to avoid processed vegan meats. Jared Simons, previous chef and owner of Taco Vega and current executive chef of Nic’s on Beverly, will head up the food menu, while Jason Eisner will oversee the beverage menu.
The specific dishes to grace Argento’s menu remain unknown, but Simons recently curated the Outstanding in the Field dinner at Coachella as an Argento preview. The multi-course meal included Ciabatta with Sun-Dried Tomato Oil, Grilled California Asparagus with Fennel & Thyme Pesto, Freckled Lettuce with Beets, Radishes, & Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette, Lion’s Mane Mushroom with Fava Beans & Gremolata, and Olive Oil Cake with Strawberries and Balsamic.
To drink, Argento offers primarily natural vegan wines. But with mixologist Eisner behind the beverage menu, we expect to find fancy vegan cocktails as well. A negroni sbagliato with prosecco in it, anyone?
