If you’re looking for a new, trendy spot to grab drinks with friends, The Butcher’s Daughter team just opened a vegan-friendly natural wine and cocktail bar in Venice! Only The Wild Ones offers several vegan food and drink options, making it a perfect destination for hangouts with vegans and non-vegans alike.
The Butcher’s Daughter Restaurant Group
The Butcher’s Daughter first opened in New York in 2012. In just a few years, the restaurant expanded to three additional New York locations and one Los Angeles location. Positioned right on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, this restaurant became a brunch, lunch, and dinner staple in no time. In September of 2020, The Butcher’s Daughter restaurant group continued their West Coast growth by opening a vegetarian Mexican food pop-up called De Buena Planta. Now, they’ve just opened a natural wine and cocktail bar, Only The Wild Ones.
The Opening of Only The Wild Ones
The opening of Only The Wild Ones was initially teased on Instagram in early November and by the 19th, the establishment was open. Just like the restaurant group’s other ventures, Only The Wild Ones features the most aesthetic and trendy interior that transports customers to foreign countries! This one in particular gives off Spain and Mexico vibes.
Sustainable Wines, Craft Beers, Innovative Cocktails, and Plant-Based Bites
Only The Wild Ones serves natural, biodynamic, sustainable wines as well as craft beers, innovative cocktails, and plant-based bites (all of which are vegetarian, some of which are vegan). The vegan as-is food options include crispy chickpeas, marinated olives, crudites & house-made vegan ranch, and an olive oil cake with a citrus compote. All of the other food items are vegetarian, so we’d suggest asking your server if any of those items can be modified to be vegan. As for the drinks, all of the brands are listed, so vegan customers can double-check online that the beverage they’re hoping to enjoy is vegan.
